Making Jewish learning more accessible through technology
Drashot.ai is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to expanding access to Jewish learning through technology and artificial intelligence.
Our mission
For thousands of years, the study of Torah, Talmud, and classical Jewish texts has been central to Jewish life and scholarship. However, many of these texts remain difficult to access for large parts of the Jewish world due to language barriers and the complexity of the sources.
Our goal is to help remove these barriers and build a trusted global resource that makes authentic Jewish learning clearer, more accessible, and more connected to communities around the world.
Opening access to authentic sources
We believe Jewish learning should be available to more people, regardless of whether they study in Hebrew, Portuguese, Spanish, French, or other languages.
By combining careful text work with modern technology, we aim to support students, educators, rabbis, and institutions seeking deeper and more practical access to foundational Jewish texts.
Starting with the Talmud
We began by focusing on one of the most important foundations of Jewish scholarship: the Gemara (Talmud). Our initial project is the translation and structuring of the entire Talmud into multiple languages, enabling students and educators to approach these texts with greater clarity and accessibility.
By making these sources available in languages such as Portuguese, Spanish, French, and Hebrew, we aim to support communities that currently have limited access to comprehensive Jewish study resources.
A growing digital portal
Our long-term vision is to build a comprehensive digital portal that brings together a wide range of classical Jewish texts in multiple languages. The platform is designed to help students, rabbis, educators, and institutions—including schools, yeshivot, and research centers—study and explore Jewish sources more efficiently.
AI built for Jewish learning
As the platform evolves, we plan to introduce advanced AI-powered tools that will further enhance learning. One of our key future features will be a question-and-answer interface, similar in usability to modern AI assistants, but designed specifically for Jewish learning.
Unlike general AI tools, our system will provide responses based only on verified Jewish sources, ensuring reliability and maintaining the integrity of the tradition.
